CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

• Currumbin RSL maintains a high standard of service, dress and behaviour
• All patrons must be clean, neat and tidy in smart casual appearance and obscene or offensive language or clothing will not be tolerated
• Management has the right to refuse entry to any person who does not meet Club regulations.
• Member Rewards Membership cards must be shown to gain entry
• Management decision shall be final in all matters relating to Dress and Behaviour
• Persons with intimidating tattoos or in appearance may be refused entry
• Unruly and disruptive behaviour may result in automatic expulsion and suspension
• Dress Regulations are at the absolute discretion of Management

NOT PERMITTED to be worn in the Club at any time:

• As a mark of respect to the RSL tradition no headwear is to be worn with the exception of ladies formal headwear, when part of formal attire (i.e. Melbourne Cup day or wedding reception wear and medical conditions.)
• Industrial, soiled or torn clothing
• Swimwear, no men’s singlets or sleeveless t-shirts
• Provocative clothing, or clothing with obscene or offensive language
• Leather Vest, Patches or colours associated with gangs
• Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times
• No intimidating tattoos

To provide a safe environment for our young people, it is required that Minors must:

• Be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Wear footwear at all times
• Vacate the premises by 10pm.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Currumbin-Palm Beach RSL & Services Memorial Club Inc. (the Association) requires personal information to process your application for membership. The information you provide will be used to maintain your membership records and enable you to access and be provided with information about the services and the benefits available to you as a member of the Association. It will also be used to conduct research in order to identify and analyse the ongoing needs of members and may be combined with a loyalty rewards program. Information provided by you to the Association may be required to be disclosed to Federal and State regulatory bodies by law.

You have the right to request access to any information held by the Association which relates to you and to correct any information that is inaccurate. Any requests for corrections should be addressed to the Privacy Officer in writing and signed.

We will protect your personal information and not use it for any purpose other than as approved by you or if required by law. From time to time we may send you Club information and special offers and may contract specialist mailing houses to perform these mailings. If we do provide your details to external parties they will only use your information for the purpose for which it is provided and no other purpose.

By ticking the box via the online application you are agreeing that you are eighteen (18) years of age or above that age and understand that my membership application is subject to the acceptance of the Board of Directors. You agree that you have not been expelled or suspended from any other club. You understand that your membership fee will not be refunded.

By signing this application form you grant Currumbin RSL the absolute permission to: record your participation and appearance on videotape, audiotape, film, photography or any other medium: use your name, likeness, voice and biographic material in connection with these recordings in whole or in part without restriction or limitations for any educational or promotional purpose which Currumbin RSL and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate. You further grant Currumbin RSL the right to copyright such pictures and images and waive any rights that you might have in the pictures and images, including any rights to inspect and/or approve the finished photographs and images or the use which they may be applied so long as their use is lawful. Currumbin RSL has a public liability insurance to a total of $30M.

Information is provided for members, guests and bona fide visitors.

CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP:

• I agree to be bound by the Constitution and the Rules and By Laws of Currumbin Palm Beach RSL & Services Memorial Club Inc (Currumbin RSL).
• I declare that I am over the age of eighteen (18) years.
• I agree to adhere to the directions of Club management, including the responsible service of alcohol, dress regulations and portray responsible behaviour and a sensible approach to gaming.
• I understand Currumbin RSL collects my personal information to inform me of its products and services, to provide discount s and special offers, to conduct research and to further develop its products and services.
• I understand I may call (07) 5534 7999 to access or correct my personal information, to stop Currumbin RSL sending me information about their products and services, seek clarification on this privacy notice or if I have a complaint.
• I am aware Currumbin RSL may send me information regarding special offers. If you wish to opt out and not receive offers please unsubscribe.
• I am aware that my application for membership is pending approval by the Board.
• I am aware Currumbin RSL has Public Liability Insurance of $30M.
• I am aware with this social membership I can not nominate for a Board position and have no voting rights.

Currumbin RSL is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988. The personal information provided by you on this application will be used to process your membership application. Failure to provide all of the requested information may result in your application being denied. You have the right to access and correct any of your personal information that the Club holds about you. The Club does not disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. The Club may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to the Club. These contracts require the third party to keep your personal information confidential and secure. Your personal information, including information about you obtained as a result of you placing your membership card in a gaming or other Club machine (not ATMs), may be used by the Club for marketing purposes to improve our service and to provide you with the latest information about those services, any new related services and promotions.
