THE U2 SHOW ACHTUNG BABY Comes to Queensland at Currumbin RSL

U2 Show Achtung Baby is Australia’s most authentic tribute to one of the world’s most iconic rock bands, U2.

The U2 show, also known as U2AB, will be performing live at Currumbin RSL on 3 August 2019 in what will be their first live performance in Queensland.

The U2 Show Achtung Baby, is an international touring tribute show is bringing a recreation of the live U2 “Experience” to the small-er stage.

This show will be dominated by many classic U2 songs, accompanied by all the costumes, show highlights and showmanship of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. The show also features visual animations and footage that have featured in legendary live U2 shows.

Each show will feature impressive note-for-note renditions of U2’s greatest songs from albums such as Boy, October, War, The Unforgettable Fire, The Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby, All That You Can’t Leave Behind,  plus more!

Who is in the U2 Show?

This show consists of four dedicated U2 fans – Michael Cavallaro (Bono), Peter Kalamaras (The Edge), David Attard (Adam Clayton) and Craig Jupp (Larry Mullen Jr.). Together they have performed these U2 classics to tens of thousands of fans in every corner of Australia, the Asia Pacific region, the South Pacific and New Zealand.

The U2AB boys have even appeared live numerous times on Triple “M” radio, and Channel 9’s “A Current Affair”. Channel Reporter Martin King describes them as “dead ringers to U2”!

Such reviews exist only because The U2 Show Achtung Baby give extreme attention to all the details that make the U2 experience what it is. The Show is painstakingly reproduce each note, each sound, each nuance of a live U2 performance. And this is precisely what keeps the fans coming back for more, year after year.
