Remembrance Day Sunday 11 November 2018

The Eleventh hour of the eleventh month of the year 2018 will mark the 100th Anniversary of the signing of the Armistice signifying the end of World War One.

It is a time our nation pauses to acknowledge with sadness the extraordinary loss these young nations, Australia and New Zealand, suffered as a result of the war.

Currumbin Palm Beach RSL will reflect on our national losses from all wars and conflicts that have occurred during the last century and in doing so, acknowledge the extraordinary obligations that have fallen upon young Australians in pursuit of world peace. As proud Australians and New Zealanders, we will always remember them.

Currumbin Palm Beach RSL invites the community to be with us on this special day of remembrance, to lay a Cross of Remembrance and reflect on the past efforts of those who gave their lives for us to be where we are today, living in peace, in the most beautiful country on earth.
