The Super Hornet flypast will occur shortly after 11:00am during the mid-morning service at the Currumbin RSL Cenotaph on the banks of Currumbin Creek at 165 Duringan Street Currumbin. The flight path will be from west to east from the Currumbin Hinterland over Currumbin RSL and out over the Currumbin Estuary at a low altitude. The flypast has been months in planning and signifies 100 years since the end of World War I. For people not attending the mid-morning ANZAC Day Service the best vantage points for the flypast will be along the banks of Currumbin Creek, the top of Currumbin Stairs, Throwers Bridge, and the Gold Coast Highway Bridge between Palm Beach and Currumbin. Please note: Conditions vary and the flypast is subject to favourable weather conditions.
