Ahead of Remembrance Day, we’re bringing our knitting and crochet community together to make handmade poppies. Some will become part of a special display at the club, while others will be turned into poppy brooches sold to raise funds for our veteran community. Whether you make one poppy or a whole bunch, every stitch helps us remember, honour and give back. Here’s how you can join in: Join Our Weekly Poppy Circle Every Wednesday | 10am – 12pm Starting 16 September, running through to 28 October Come along and stitch alongside others in a relaxed, friendly setting. We’ll provide the pattern and wool — just bring your 4mm knitting needles or 4mm crochet hook. Our regular poppy makers will also be there to share tips, help with the pattern and lend a hand. Learn the Poppy Pattern with Amy From Nana Sport Wednesday 23 September | 10am – 12pm Amy from Nana Sport will be joining our Poppy Circle for a dedicated session on the poppy pattern for both knitting and crochet. Best suited to those already comfortable with the basics. No need to book, just come along. Located in The Cove.
