Naomi Connell is a singer-songwriter based in the Northern Rivers along Australia’s East Coast. Influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling and Gillian Welch, Naomi is following in their steps with songs that carry a richness of strength and vulnerability.
In 2019 Naomi bunkered down in the quiet cove of Copacabana, New South Wales to record her debut EP at Kasey Chamber’s home studio, ‘the Rabbit Hole Recording Studio’. The six song EP is filled with ethereal folk ballads and heavy hitting triumphs of love loss and redemption.
The release of her debut EP was shortly followed by taking the title in the Tamworth Country Music Festival’s Busking Championship 2020.
