Are you looking for a week day farmers market? Come along to the fabulous Currumbin Community Markets every Thursday morning from 7am until 11am.
Bring your families and spend some time together before school and have a nutritional breakfast or just sit in the sunshine with a coffee and listen to some live music.
Turn a week-day chore of grocery shopping into a ritual you look forward to every week and of course, have direct access to super fresh and seasonal produce!
Located conveniently at 164 Duringan St, Currumbin (across the road from Currumbin RSL), two born-and-bred Gold Coast mothers started this week-day farmers market in Currumbin to give locals the opportunity to buy fresh seasonal produce direct from local farmers.
The organisers, Hannah Sheppard and Chana Warry-Stokes brought the farmer’s markets to life 2 years ago. Hannah said, “So many Gold Coast locals have to travel to our neighbouring towns in the Northern Rivers to buy fresh produce during the week. We thought it was time we had our own community farmers market so that locals could access real food grown locally at a convenient time and place.” The local women are focused on creating a true farmers market community by only allowing farmers who have a direct link to the produce they sell.
