At Currumbin RSL we subscribe to the National RSL Mission, Role and Objectives Mission Statement:
“To ensure that programs are in place for the well-being, care, compensation and commemoration of serving and ex-service Defence Force members.”
One of the Key Roles of our RSL includes Commemoration and Remembrance. This is done via important and significant Remembrance Days such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day, along with others.
The Currumbin RSL ANZAC Day Dawn Service on Saturday 25th of April 2020 will commence at 5am. We invite all members of the community to attend this National Day of Remembrance at Elephant Rock.
The service is renowned for being respectful, commemorative, inclusive and attracts visitors from intrastate, interstate and internationally all who want to share this day of remembrance.
On completion of the Dawn Service the buses will return patrons from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary back to The Pines and Currumbin RSL for a gold coin donation (for non veterans).
