Poppy Pattern Crochet Class with Amy from Nana Sport

Calling all knitters and crocheters! Join us for a FREE event to help create our Tunnel of Remembrance — a special poppy display to honour those who’ve served.
For this special one-off workshop, Amy from Nana Sport will teach you how to make the poppy pattern in both knitting and crochet. Learn the pattern on the night, take it home with you, and keep stitching!
Once you’ve made your poppies, bring them back to Currumbin RSL and we’ll add them to our display, creating a beautiful community tribute for Remembrance Day in November.
This workshop is best suited to those who are already comfortable with the basics of knitting or crochet.
We’ll provide the wool and the pattern; you just need to bring along 4mm knitting needles or 4mm crochet hook.
Why not make an evening of it? Enjoy a bite to eat and a drink, and settle in for an evening of stitching, conversation and community.
Registration required as spaces are limited.
Wednesday 30 September, 6pm to 7.30pm in The Cove
