Deck Acoustics with Ella Belfanti
21 March @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm AEST
If you started band with Matt Corby, John Butler, Florence Welch and London Grammar, you’d just about get 20-year-old artist Ella Belfanti.
Ella has a soulful sound developed between playing the snowy mountains of Australia and Japan, and touring the sunburnt Aussie East Coast. This pint-sized powerhouse is endorsed by Cole Clark Guitars and has been hailed as “The next big thing!” by Yumi Stynes.
As put by Beat Magazine, “Her percussive style of guitar playing has captured the eye of critics around the country and will definitely capture you too.”
She has won the ‘Best Guitarist’ title at the Bluesfest Busking Competition, played the Sydney Opera House for ‘All About Women’ Fest, and has made waves across the festival circuit with her powerful voice and live looping. She takes her audience on a journey through folky ballads, groovy atmospheric blues, percussive fingerstyle guitar pieces, and fast-paced heralds to the confusing human condition. What her songs all have in common is a strikingly raw quality.
