Relocate this years’ Service back to the Currumbin RSL cenotaph
Due to the large crowd numbers that our ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Elephant Rock attracts, we have made the decision to relocate this years’ Service back to the Currumbin RSL cenotaph. This decision has been made to assist with the reduction in crowd numbers and reduce congestion, ensuring the safety of our veteran community and the general public. Further details will be provided in the coming weeks regarding our ANZAC Day activities and events.

Poppy Installations and Lighting of Bridges and Buildings
17th April 2021 Saturday – 26th April 2021
Currumbin RSL has an exciting local visual commemorative project planned for ANZAC 2021.
The project involves the knitting & crocheting of thousands of poppies to be installed at a prominent local setting as a visual representation of community commemoration.
We would love your help-donations of wool, knitting or crotcheting & any other assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
A lovely group of knitters and crocheters meet at the club every Tuesday morning at 10.30am for a chat, a cuppa and some frenzied crafting. Just come along to be part of this wonderful way to participate in the project.
