2018 Clubs Queensland ‘Best Dining’ Award Runner Up and Runner Up in the Chef of the Year Alleys Restaurant prides itself on offering local, fun, seasonal and absolutely delicious food. Our new menu was launched 8 May 2018 and features ingredients from our immediate surrounds.
Our Chefs forage in our veggie gardens for fresh herbs and seasonal produce.
Our daily specials often include garden greens, one of the tomato varieties, herbs, chillies or any of the other tasty treats. Our patch of mint comes in very handy for those long refreshing Mojitos cocktails.
We are proud to be using local suppliers such as Innobake and Southern Cross.
We pride ourselves on being fresh and local and presenting the highest quality of food. We even harvest and use honey from our very own on site Flow Hives.
Please note all due care is taken when preparing our gluten free food, however it is prepared in a kitchen where gluten is used so therefore traces of gluten may be found.
Choose from an Irish stew w/ creamy mashed potato OR crumbed fish cakes w/chips + salad. Available lunch only Monday to Friday - member price not valid on public holidays.
Every Monday night choose from a selection of delicious curry dishes.
Choose between beef, pork, lamb or ham. Served with tasty vegetables including roast potato and a delicious dessert! (GF)

The story behind how it all began…
In the spring of 2011, Alleys kitchen apprentice, Justin was found fossicking in the ground near our worm farms. Club CEO Anne Stovin queried him and Justin’s simple reply was that he wanted to start a herb garden. While this area was too sandy for any herbs to grow, an idea had been planted in Anne’s mind & the origins of Alleys evolution began!
The Club took a tour of the Currumbin Community Special School and was inspired by their vegetable patches, irrigation, chicken house, bee house and worm farms. So much so that we embarked on a greener lifestyle and launched our own Community Garden and Worm Farm which anyone is welcome to be a part of.
Staff members’ family kindly volunteered to set up the garden beds & its surrounding fence. Sous Chefs Adam & Scott, joined by Mark & Carlos ran with the idea and between them they cultivate the gardens, feed the worm farms and maintained the compost piles. And so a fertile & productive vegetable garden began!

Being able to source products so local and so fresh reinforces Executive Chef, Felicity Best’s philosophy of local, fresh and simply scrumptious. You can be involved in our Community Gardens by volunteering and in return you will learn how to create your own veggie garden at home. It’s great fun for any age, can reduce your weekly grocery bill, bring transformation to your home’s outdoor setting and increase your ‘green thumb’ in the global community.

All the function rooms at Currumbin RSL on the Gold Coast have majestic water views along with providing mouthwatering and affordable menu selections.
The Event Room and The Cove lend themselves perfectly as function rooms for weddings, both with their own private balcony. These spaces also offer full seminar facilities. The Deck, The Rivulet and Shoreline Cafe & Bar at Alleys Restaurant, Currumbin RSL, are great options for smaller celebrations all still with stunning water views and make for fantastic function rooms.
Waterside Events offers a variety of services, including a personal event coordinator. Lead by our award winning Event Manager, Caroline Tas, they take the time to speak with you personally about your requirements; theming suggestions, menu inclusions, venue options and any other possible requirements; photographer, team building activities etc.
Attention to detail, assurance of quality and professional service ensures your event will run smoothly. Whether you hire one of the function spaces or let Waterside events cater for you offsite with their Gold Coast catering option you are assured of professional service with a personal wedding coordinator or event coordinator.
Currumbin RSL Club Gold Coast however, is open from 10am daily until late.
Alleys Restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Lunch bookings taken from 12pm and dinner bookings from 5.30pm.
The Deck Creekside is open daily from 10am.
Please note the Club is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day
