‘Rangas for Rangas’ comedy fund raiser

On Wednesday July 21 Side Splitting Comedy is dedicated to raising funds for Rainforest Rescue and the plight of Orangutans and their habitat.

It is a sad and confronting situation. 5 football fields of pristine rainforest is destroyed EVERY MINUTE in Indonesia (300 an hour!). 50 Orangutans are killed every week during this destruction. Orphaned orangutans overcrowd sanctuaries and are sold on the black market as pets. The palm oil industry is what drives this insanity so we can have our creature comforts, such as potato chips, confectionary, cosmetics, soaps shampoos and conditioners.

Orangutans are facing extinction and have no voice. Let us be the voice and speak up for these beautiful, intelligent primates.

Through laughter we hope to raise awareness and money. Mandy Nolan is dontating her time and has invited three of her favourite read headed comics to join in on a riotous ranga raising night. Profits from all ticket sales will go to Rainforest Rescue
